The Car
Inspired by Bill "Maverick" Golden's A100 drag racing truck called "Little Red Wagon".
This hot little Hemi powered Dodge would perform wheel stands, at first accidentally, while leaving the line heading down the quarter mile.
The truck would become a feature at numerous events where promoters wanted to attract attention and crowds.
This New Zealand rebuilt 1968 Dodge A100 Pick Up features a 360ci (5.9ltr) V8 with lots of "go fast" internals has the same effect as Bill's A100, even with out the wheel stands.
The vehicle has had the original paint completely stripped off and the body was carefully and lovingly pre paired by Simon Tippens of Creative Panelworks followed by Rodney Holland adding the PPG provided colour.
The bed features a fold down sign board ready to promote..... well anything you like as long as it's legal.
